Over several years, a double life takes shape, where lies become both protection and prison. Identities are invented, relationships fall apart and reality drifts further and further away.

The book explores what it means to live with constant anxiety, shame and the fear of being found out; but also, the struggle to understand myself, the longing to be honest and the small moments that could have become turning points.
