Something evil is on the prowl in the vast forests of Vancouver Island and it's not human. A rogue sasquatch that has learned to kill humans purely for the sport of it, scours the island looking for its next victim. Only one man, self-styled “bigfoot tracker” Jake Verity, knows about the creature and the danger it poses and is obsessed with killing it before it can kill again. Only Verity can't do it alone, so he turns to the world's foremost—and only—husband and wife cryptozoology team, Paul and Sarah Manhart, to help him find the creature and force a life-or-death confrontation designed to end the beast's reign of terror once and for all. Unfortunately, the monster proves far more cunning than any of them imagined, resulting in a struggle for survival that will pit Paul and Sarah against an abomination of nature more determined and more evil than anything they have ever encountered before.
