This book is a documentation of the research project with the same title. The project was performed as a artistic research and included concerts and stagings, but also surveys that compared Early Modern love songs to ideations of verbal abuse in our own time. The borders between historical and present day were drawn with the artistic freedom that comes with artistic research.
