Contexts change because of different kinds of pressure and development in society, and because of the use of designed information systems. From an informatics viewpoint, it is not possible to design a support without understanding what needs and activities it is intended to meet and support. The writers suggest that informatics researchers focus on three relationships with the technology artefact: the designer, the user, and the organisation.
