The "From coast to coast" project deals with the transition from the mobile lifestyle of Early Stone Age to the establishment of sedentary settlements during the Late Stone Age in central Sweden. Thirty-five individual projects are being carried out at the Universities of Uppsala, Gothenburg, Lund and Stockholm. The results are published in this series. The project is financed by the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation and Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
